You’re making the investment to come to HSCG’s 2014 Conference, May 20-22, in Tucson, Arizona. How would you like to get some extra class time in while you’re there? You can do that with our in-depth seminar sessions.
There are four intensive seminars being held on Monday, May 19th, the day before the conference officially begins. These are hands-on, intensive classes with a 30-attendee cap per class. These focused sessions get you some great interaction with your instructor and the other students to make it a truly valuable learning experience.
These extra seminar sessions are super-affordable and super exclusive. Seminars are limited to just 30 attendees. As you might imagine, conference is filling up, as are the seminars. Once seminars hit 30 attendees, registration will close. The cost is $79, which includes the class, all handouts, giveaways and a full lunch (score one for food!). They will start promptly at 10AM on May 19th and of course, you must be a registered conference attendee to attend a seminar. Discounted room rates are available on the 18th, so you can come in early and rest up for the pre-conference in-depth seminars.
- Scaling Production & Masterbatching: Brave the Fire with Kendra (Kenna) Cote – Learn how to scale production and batch size as your business grows, and learn all the tips and tricks to doing so without breaking the bank from an indie soapmaker.
- Cold Process Soapmaking Intensive Class with Cathy McGinnis – This makes a great prep class for the Basic Cold Process Certification test (happening just after class!). If you’re shaky on the basics, come make your own batch and learn the history, chemistry, and the procedures for making a basic batch of cold process soap.
- Packaging Your Bath and Body Products with Joan McCoy – You have an awesome product, but packaging is what will sell it. Learn about finding the right packaging for everything from perfume to bath bombs and leave with samples and lots of resources.
- Taking Your Empire to the Next Level: Sales Reps + Trade Shows with Lela Barker – Learn how to find a sales rep and why you might want one as well as all the ins and outs of trade shows: how to decide if you’re ready, how to budget , design, pack for the trade show, and more.
