Denaige is the owner of Bubble Hut  www.bubblehut.ca/ and bases her business near Edmonton, Alberta. She has been a member of the HSMG since January, 2007. Denaige was elected to the Nominating Committee in 2008 and served there briefly before being appointed to the Board of Directors.  She is currently Chair of the Policy, Procedures and By-laws Committee.

Denaige Shanks – volunteer, college student, and business owner founded Bubble Hut out of necessity.  Denaige’s daughter born prematurely with eczema was very sensitive to commercial soap.  Denaige tried commercial soaps on the market – glycerin soaps, goat’s milk soaps, and yes even Dove, but the soaps only made her baby’s skin even worse.   Focused and determined, Denaige began researching and gathering information about natural soapmaking.  With her knowledge, necessity became a passion and then a successful business.

Bubble Hut Inc was born and has been in existence for 4 years.  Customers often stop by to see what Denaige may be creating.  Bubble Hut offers a variety of natural skin care needs. Favorites are Elixir XXII, Salve Me, and Mr. Ice Guy.  Also check out Bubble Hut Inc on facebook www.facebook.com for upcoming events.  Contact: DenaigeS@Soapguild.org
